Unresponsive & Incompetent Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors looked out for each other and the packages. Never had one issue with stolen packages. Overall, everyone's respectful of one another and maintains the peace.
Cons:
Sure, the apartment has washer/dryer in unit, but management does not care about you and will be unresponsive and incompetent. When we first moved in, our AC units stopped working during a heat wave in September. They sent several electricians to look at the wiring (which the building is wired horribly, just a heads up), telling us the same thing. Why? Because they didn't send the same electrician who understood the issue to continue resolving it, resulting in the several new electricians being sent over to tell us the same thing, presenting the issue to us as if it was new every time. This resulted in the issue being prolonged well into winter, where we experienced a polar vortex. Management never offered us any solution or access to heat, only being prompted to act once we reported to 311. We didn't get access to our AC units until early Spring. Now they're ignoring us on getting our security deposit back and it's been well over 2 weeks.
Advice to owner:
Check your emails and actually do your job by responding to them. Imagine that's one of your job roles and you still fail in that
