Decent, but all about money
Former Tenant
Pros:
Repairs seemed to be fast without much hassle.
Very responsive via email and phone.
Cons:
If you live with people, you all sign a joint lease, and are responsible for each other, even when someone moves out. You’re responsible for any balance left my a roommate, even as a new roommate. Luckily, my roommates were reasonable enough to not require me to pay (though I did offer, actually).
Advice to owner:
Go after any tenant who doesn’t pay, not current and future roommates

Careful Renting from this company.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Its a small rental building with 4 units and easy to access subways or buses for transportation.
Cons:
We constantly had rats in the walls and ceilings running around. Management/Office is rude and unprofessional. They bought the building when I moved in and never fixed any of the damages from previous tenants and then blamed us for it. Claimed we left a bunch of stuff in the apartment after move out after we sent pictures of the apt empty, and then charges us an extra $200 on top of keeping our security deposit. We fixed/filled all the holes in the walls before moving out b/c they never did. The apartment floods in heavy rain storms and management also never helped with anything or damage caused from the flood. We asked for an itemized list of the damages they claimed we did and they ghosted us.
Advice to owner:
Do better at managing your properties and don't steal from tenants.

Great apartment with great location but terrible TERRIBLE landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is well-located in Queens, close to several very good restaurants, quieter than Main Street Bushwick and close to both the L and M trains. On the ground floor at least, you get a lot of bang for your back as the ground floor apartments are duplexes with backyard access.
Cons:
Management is a massive pain in the ass. They're rude, condescending and generally refuse to budge on anything as well as break their own lease rules (i.e. requiring 24 hours notice before management can show up then sending agents with 2 hours notice). They also have very tenant-hostile points in the lease such as making you pay for the whole apartment if there are any vacancies and making you pay a fine if you ever want to sublet.
Advice to owner:
Learn that tenants aren't always out to get you and show some compassion for the people living there.

Rats in the walls
Former Tenant
Pros:
Central air conditioning, new fixtures.
Cons:
No matter how many times pest control gets called, there are rats in the walls. We hear them crawling all night. Multiple plumbing and electric issues including basement flooding and loss of power.
