Always trust your gut
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, garbage maintenance
Cons:
Be careful having packages delivered if it's good someone will steal them. Someone stole my ac and if you wonder how is it possible to steal a huge box it was done, the main building door does not lock and there's no cameras. The building has tons of roaches I've been there less then a month the exterminator came 5 times and still roaches it's obvious the building has a larger infestation they won't deal with, and I was promised things would be fixed before move in and they weren't. Roaches are still a big issue and when terminating the lease the landlord called to threaten me not to tell people about the roaches as it would be in "my best interest". Best advice stay away or have your mail go somewhere else.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your property, fix things before tricking tenants after move in and actually take care of the pest issue.

Lots of problems upon move-in
Former Tenant
Pros:
The management company is very responsive about complaints and issues. Spacious apartment.
Cons:
Upkeep of building is terrible. Our apartment was not ready upon move in. The last tenant didn’t clean and the management company did not have anyone clean the apartment before we moved in either. The appliances were old, worn and smaller than normal sized (fridge and oven) and had problems with temperature settings and ice buildup in freezer. There’s a really bad roach infestation and we found 6 large roaches within the first month of moving in, even after an exterminator had come to the unit several times. Someone steals packages all the time and we don’t know if it’s someone in the building or someone from outside because there is no lock to the door to the front of the building so anyone can walk in at anytime. Several other more minor issues popped up such as a hole that has developed in the porch of the building and the management company is very responsive about these issues but it takes a lot of back and forth email exchanges to get anything done, as they will have the super come to fix one thing at a time through multiple appointments. Most of the issues I’ve described above still haven’t been fixed after a month.
Advice to owner:
Make sure the unit is ready before new tenants move in… actually care about the upkeep of the building.

Good and bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
great super on site who takes all the packages for you and the building itself is kept clean
Cons:
loud noises in hallway and there is no insulation in the ceilings so watch out you WILL hear everything going on. Bedbugs happening as well.
Advice to owner:
Keep your tenants in check, they are disruptive and im sure are stealing packages too, invest in real insulationi
