Overall not bad but would not renew
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great Location, love the neighborhood. there are washer/dryer units but it’s a combo machine and does not work very efficiently/has broken multiple times. Units are a good size and the top floor has a lot of light with skylights. Nice roof access
Cons:
maintenance issues go through a different company so it is not easy to fix issues quickly. . We had major issues with another tenant causing disturbances and threatening my roommates vandalizing our door and screaming at us, we were promised he would leave but eventually he left on his own accord. It was very scary for us and management pretty much did nothing, told us to call cops, not helpful.
Advice to owner:
Replace appliances when needed, and take tenants safety seriously

Not worth the new rent but pretty nice building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amenities are great including roof, is you threaten the landlord they will fix stuff. Building is pretty clean
Cons:
Neighbors are genuinely scary. One of them was selling drugs and threatening girls and management didn’t do anything. The rooms are also super small and walls are thin

Gut renovated apt
Former Tenant
Pros:
While I was there the neighbors never stole packages and it is nice to have the amenities of central heat/ac dishwasher and laundry.
Cons:
Like many gut renovated apts the infrastructure is TERRIBLE. Walls have no insulation in between them and rooms are all stacked beside each other so you can hear everyone and everything. You can hear people from both upstairs and downstairs pretty loudly too and the high ceilings makes the noise ring.
Room temp varies a lot by room, the middle room had the biggest windows and is hotter than all the others.
Had a red ant infestation at one point living on the second floor.

Not too bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap rent for great location
Cons:
Management slow to respond to certain issues, prone to leaks with heavy snow/rain fall
