Fine if you're on a budget. Ridgewood is nice.

Pros:
Cheap, good neighborhood, nice neighbors. Lots of grocery stores and good stores nearby.
Cons:
rats, roaches, cheap appliances, loud train noise.
Advice to owner:
Make some updates to the apartments.
