Great Neighborhood, Terrible Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location and great neighbors.
Cons:
The landlord was extremely difficult to get ahold of. The work he had done to the water damage around the apartment was subpar if it actually ever happened. It’s been 8 months and he completely ghosted about the security deposit and overcharged me for it. I will be going to small claims court.
Advice to owner:
Care more about your tenants living conditions and read up on NYC housing laws.

Beware of Landlord Better Not Call …
Former Tenant
Pros:
I enjoyed the neighbors and the people I’m the building. The surrounding areas are fantastic.
Cons:
The Landlord has been the absolute worst person I’ve ever rented from. He is completely unresponsive and truly doesn’t care about his tenants. He is a crooked man, shadow like personality.
Advice to owner:
He isn’t a human in the sense of emotions. He is a man out to try and scam people for money. I have no advice

Finessed parlor tricks
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location’s great for train transportation.
Cons:
Jammed doors all the time, squeaky floors and ant plagues around the building.
Advice to owner:
Limit the space to only four people, five it’s too much for an apartment.
