They will kick you out
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great neighborhood great food
Cons:
Landlords terminated our lease without any prior communication, just told us we had to leave by the end of the month and wouldn’t work with us on a lease renewal. Never fixed anything on time. Really shoddy building construction on a newly renovated building. Big roof leak dripping into apartment with landlords who couldn’t possibly care less because they’re going to bully you out of there in a year or two anyway. I’m sure the leak is still there and will be until it caves in completely and someone gets hurt. Mushrooms growing out of the windowsill. No ventilation duct was installed in the dryer so when you turned it on it would blow hot dust and lint all over the apartment-another thing they refused to care about. The landlords are just terrible people point blank, all you are to them is a space filler that puts money in their pockets until they can replace you with some unsuspecting person who will pay them more. Rinse and repeat.
Advice to owner:
Grow a soul. These are people’s livelihoods that you’re playing chess with. Not everyone has the money to find a new place whenever you feel like kicking them out and you’ve put people in really tight situations just so you could raise the rent.

Terribly negligent landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location location location
Cons:
Flooded and is growing black mold. Landlord is not responding to emails, calls, or texts.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your property, respond to tenants instead of ignoring them.
