My First NYC apartment, decent and what I needed
Former Tenant
Pros:
It is not old, it is a renewed interior. Water, A/C and Heating worked well for me. has a dishwasher. Literally one block from the Seneca M train stop, super convenient for that, and good food around the area. Indian, Venezuelan, and other Latin cuisine. One full bathroom and a 1/2 restroom.
I would recommend building if it is in your budget. Compared to other places it is on the better side I would say. I did not renew because I would rather live somewhere else and this is what I could afford at the time.
Cons:
If you're on the closer side to the train tracks, it is loud. One room does not have a window. Street is weird since it is under the train tracks. Very small kitchen area. No storage space, might need racks to put food and other things.
Advice to owner:
I believe it maximizes everything it can. One room had a water leak on the wall from the roof, hopefully that got fixed. Maintain the walls. I guess that's it.
