Cozy Nice Apartment but the Management Company who runs it were Wack AF (YNS Man
Former Tenant
Pros:
Has a historical Charm, loved the roof access, and is in a good area.
Cons:
In signing of the lease, included was a letter from the landlord stating they haven't had bed bugs in years. A day into moving into our empty apartment, we found bed bugs. We immediately called and texted our YNS management person about getting a fumigator but he literally ghosted us. Stoped answering our calls and text, my roommate's boss really wanted her to go back to work so luckily paid for a fumigator for us but we never got a word back and still haven't to this day. Also, there is supposed to be a working washing machine but they haven't fixed it in months and have ignored our ticket requests. I don't mind going to the laundry mat but it's not fair they use that as part of the increased rent price. Also woman by the name of Faye from YNS management also called my roommate and bugged her for something she was mistaken about and only calmed down once my roommate called her out on her aggressive unprofessional way of speaking to her. I loved my apartment here but they're raising the rent from 2800 to 3600 which is very upsetting especially since this company is wack AF and cant do their jobs.
Advice to owner:
read up more on your rights as a tenant and be prepared for this company to be very unprofessional and not attentive. They get mad when you ask them to do their literal job very annoying but otherwise a nice old apartment building.
