Izabela Gardocka Threatened My Family Until We Moved Out
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lovely neighbors in the building, but that is the only positive thing I have to say.
Cons:
We had multiple problems and were harassed by the landlord until we finally moved out. First I contacted the landlord Izabela Gardocka about hot water spewing from our radiator, she refused to send a plumber and told me she would not be renewing our lease because she didn't like how I handled the situation. Then she raised our rent $500 per month when I was seven months pregnant. When our child was three months old, Izabela Gardocka started a construction project in the building with less than 24 hours notice. Our home was destroyed, part of our ceiling fell down, there were burn marks on our possessions from where the construction workers were cutting metal in our apartment, and they left flimsy plastic heating pipes and heavy metal radiators unsecured at risk for falling over. When we tried to get the landlord Izabela Gardocka to fix this she threated to call Child Protective Services on us for "allowing" our child to live in such a dangerous environment. We moved out immediately when she threatened our child.
