solid building and experience, at times questionable management

Pros:
Beautiful finishes and renovations, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer in building
Cons:
Rats in the laundry room (standard though), non responsive management, washer doesn't have hot water/doesn't clean clothes well with cold water, especially in winter. Low quality upgrades (easy breaking, staining, etc.) Severe leaks around window spaces. Drafts in winter. Overall, this was a really good place to live and solidly constructed. The challenges arise when things break or don't work as they should. Also illegally raised rent without notice.
Advice to owner:
Fix leaks and breaks in a timely manner; stop illegally price gouging and displacing families; communicate with tenants around when and if maintenance repairs will happen so we can plan accordingly
