Decent beginner space
Former Tenant
Pros:
Chill, smoker friendly, no one complains about noise.
Cons:
Trash got moved to the front of the building because people refused to throw away the garbage properly. Several packages got stolen. Apartment was infested with roaches when first moved in and took 1-2 months to fully get rid of infestation. Expect centipedes and rollypolly bugs if you live on first floor. Neighbor has daily ritual of playing a horn instrument in the evening that has been happening for over a year. Hard to get used to. Front locks break frequently.
Advice to owner:
Provide some routine maintenance and proper cleaning to the entrance of the building.

Taking the ‘fresh’ out of fresh pond rd.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, cozy space, reasonably priced, new construction, great appliances/ceiling fans, subway tile/exposed brick, adorable cats in backyard
Cons:
Landlord is usually unresponsive, takes forever to get anything fixed, water quickly creates mold (maybe issue with pipes?), small units, particular neighbors are highly disrespectful of space/one another, stolen packages, insects run rampant in the hot months, backyard is typically unattended and gets very overgrown, front door is often outright broken.
Advice to owner:
The space itself is pretty good, but ownership acts like slumlords. Management needs to get their act together otherwise there’s no way future violations/lawsuits won’t happen. Particular neighbors disrespect the building (garbage everywhere, smoking inside front entrance, stolen packages) but no action appears to have ever been taken by management. Showing even a little love to the common areas of the building would go a long way. Why aren’t there actually numbers to identity the building? It shows how lazy management is to put up a paper sign 61-35 instead of making a trip around the corner to the hardware store to get numbers to put up.
