Cold/Careless/Half Assed
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large apartment in pretty neighborhood
Cons:
Heat doesn’t work apartment required multiple electric heaters that left me with over $300 electric bill each winter month
Electrical is all paper wire very unsafe
Plumbing is all pvc pipe multiple leaks in the sinks and the bath tub has flooded the downstairs apartment because the entire piping is wrong
No smoke alarms in apartment
Downstairs tenants fight like someone is being murdered every other day they also have a washer dryer in the basement that effects the water but landlord mentioned washer and dryer weren’t allowed for me
Neighborhood is racist and neighbors let their dogs poop in front of the house
Landlord allows driveway parking but neighbors will fight with you about your own parking spot even have take parking cones from front of apartment
Apartment is “updated” but is all looked rushed or isn’t done properly
There is a rodent problem .
Was never offered flexible payment during pandemic was actually rushed out for a newer tenant right in the middle of the pandemic
Advice to owner:
$1,700 is a lot of money to pay to freeze the entire winter and have all the inconveniences we had .
