Feels like a slumlord situation
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent neighborhood and affordable rent
Cons:
The building is old and that should be taken into account but the upkeep is minimal. Had bugs never any fumigated. Mold issue, to get anything repaired took forever. The heat was never good. Plan on freezing all winter. Super is sometimes difficult to get along with either she hates her job or she hates her job.
Advice to owner:
Keep up with city mandates. Fumigate. Paint. Update the property and maybe the churn of tenants wouldn’t be so high.

Terrible don’t even move to the neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
Owner is super cool
Cons:
Super of the building is extremely racist and passive agressive. Real estate agent tried to scam us out of security deposits and illegally asked for extra security deposit, while trying to scam us from getting them back. Lotfi. Heat is never on in winter. If you want to have lights on and toast a piece of bread, lights shut off and power goes off. Good luck getting racist super to turn it back on. Super NEVER cleans building. Roaches and centipedes in building. The neighbor hood is racist, found nails in my tires.
Advice to owner:
Change super and change real estate agent that gets the renters
