Don’t expect management to get back to you
Former Tenant
Pros:
The garbage is always well organized and taken care of super seems to be responsive to issues and friendly , exterminator visits once a month to building. Hot water is good . Many buses nearby for easy transport. But parking can be difficult to find sometimes.
Cons:
The building has a lot of roaches , while common in nyc it’s mostly due to neighbors not disposing trash properly . Walls are thin so you often hear neighbors talking if it’s quiet enough. Upstairs neighbor can be heard dragging furniture for several hours and my apartment does shake from their walking sometimes which is concerning ? There’s also cracks on ceiling which seem to be getting worse. The heat seems to not circulate well in the apartment if the temperature is below 25f outside due to drafty windows. Management seems to never respond to any inquiries when I call about anything for the past year. I lost employment due to the pandemic and I still haven’t received any call back from the property management about options for me.
Advice to owner:
Respond to calls made about issues . What is the point of having a line to contact if you won’t respond ?
