Charming house from Hell

Charming house Great neighborhood Amazing water pressure
Cons:
Unresponsive landlord Lazy landlord Dirty Musty Moldy No circulation upstairs (stuff, hot, musty, humid air upstairs) Rusty and rotted wood windows Leaky basement Insects and spiders everywhere Loose base boards and corners of walls Electric issues (exposed wires and blown out and broken lights) Exposed and broken glass Chipped and moldy paint and wall paper Hardware on doors are old and unsafe (broken locks, handles that don’t turn, has been locked in a room for 20 mins until the knob turned) Landlord doesn’t inform us when he is coming over
Advice to owner:
Please listen to your tenants and provide a safe and clean environment. Hire professionals to fix these problems, don’t bring your family friend to “fix” the issue.

Cons:
Not cleaned Old windows that are rotted Has mold and mildew Rusty windows that flake Bug infestation in basement Landlords take forever to respond...if they ever do respond Trash left from the last tenants was not cleaned Landlord comes over uninvited Loose baseboards Exposed wires
Advice to owner:
Be more proactive with the issues that are brought up by your tenants.

Dirty Moldy Disgusting Had to paint everything on my own Basement is infested with bugs Basement has a leak that landlord has neglected for three months
Advice to owner:
CLEAN THE HOUSE IN BETWEEN TENANTS Paint the walls New windows LISTEN to the tenants Send LICENSED exterminator Notify tenants before coming in the house Send professional LICENSED electricians and plumbers
