Living here awhile and quite happy

Pros:
Very clean, amazing supers/maintenance staff, friendly neighbors, quiet, great layout and large space in 3 bed apt
Cons:
Nearly zero insulation and old windows which has meant it’s extremely cold in winter and we are fishing extremely hot in summer. Building score is a 2 out of 100 listed in the lobby. They rarely ran the heat in the winter and our poor older neighbors I have seen a second cockroach now and I’m on the top floor so that’s not ideal.
Advice to owner:
Offer additional days for the pest control to spray. We’ve been out of town the last three weekends they came and are definitely seeing more bugs. Please turn the heat on more in the winter and consider replacing windows.

Great Super, less great management company

Pros:
Clean building, Super was very responsive and nice, always came to fix any issues we had very quickly and fully. Had a very well maintained courtyard with lights during the holidays. Exterminator came regularly.
Cons:
No roof access- in fact there was an alarm system and can’t put ANYTHING on fire escape- they were very strict about that. I got my full security deposit back but it took quite awhile. Property Management is very difficult to get in touch with. They also kept raising the rent every year until we couldn’t afford it anymore.
