Cheap and unreasonable
Former Tenant
Pros:
Extra half bathroom.
Cons:
*Dirty.
*always does a patch job, never fixes anything.
*will insist in coming into apartment to supervise handyman jobs.
*unreasonable.
*does not take out garbage, this is magnates by a neighbor who may or maybe not take out all the garbage at his discretion.
*neighbors park illegally or put cones to save parking spots for each other.
*will complain about paying with a check because they can’t go to the bank.
*will not give back security deposit
*does not understand that a security deposit is supposed to be deposited into a bank account and given back to tenant.
*illegally rents basement although house is registered as a two family.
*Opens her door (first floor) and looks at you and your guests to spy on you as you come in and out. Made my family and I feel very uncomfortable.
*Refuses to replace anything, be ready to deal with dozens of patch jobs and work with the handyman’s preferred schedule because your life does not matter.
*heat is not included, be ready to fork over a ton in the winter.
*the meter for this apartment is illegally connected to the hallway as well. You are going to pay the electric for that area.
Advice to owner:
Stop renting, you are not good at it.
