Don’t rent Veritas management company rentals
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing, BUT there is a pizza shop close by that is so good lol.
Cons:
- when I first moved in the management company gave me a tenants number and told me it was the super. I had been texting this guy for like 2 weeks asking questions and he never told me he wasn’t the super until I called and complained bc the super didn’t know anything?? So wtf
-there are exposed pipes in my house and they get so hot to the point of causing burns, and making my apartment so hot that I was getting noise bleeds. Literally had to fight for them to put installation on it. They did but phew.
- my kitchen water is grey and my bathroom water is brown, I’ve filled so many violations but my water is still gross after 2 months, I was told no one else is complaining from the lady at the management company? So According to her the whole building loves disgusting water. Still fighting this currently.
- the never put in screens in my window so the one day it was so hot I had no choice but to open my windows then a wonder PIGEON swan dived into my living room and attacked my friends back. Yeah.
-also my neighbor is so loud and sings at the top of his lung EVERYTIME he leaves his apartment. He also has full on 80s style workout in the hall ways where he blasts music and screams the lyrics while intensely jump roping and slamming the jump rope against the ground, he also switches to dribbling a basketball as hard as humanly possibly, he does this at least 4 times a week. Then the whole hall way smells like man sweat & musk. Ew.
