Good place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen staff are awesome, view is great, apartments are good size, laundry in building.
Cons:
Management not always responsive, some laundry machines are more recently not operational on regular basis. Heating is expensive.
Advice to owner:
Ne responsive to tenants.

Overall great!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is great. No pests, great garbage disposal, great doormen. Nice view if you get a unit facing Manhattan.
Cons:
Far from the subway, although the bus and ferry are close by. The park across the street gets VERY loud, with parties going until 3-4am in the summer.
Advice to owner:
Bring back the shuttle

Tries hard but not what it seems
Former Tenant
Pros:
The doorman crew is the best part of the building.
Cons:
Poor insulation in the walls and balcony doors are not sealed. Cold air comes through and causes heating bills to skyrocket in the winter. Management does nothing to help.

Cons:

Expensive, Nice Rooms, Strange Design.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pretty units, quiet, nice view on roof, concierge 24/7, great laundry on site, some nice staff, rarely (if any) see bugs, printer / computer in lobby, very clean, there is a super, package room, they have upped cleaning more since Covid19, elevator is fast
Cons:
Expensive, No water protection lining in sinks & showers so leads to molds/mildew, Rude/demeaning landlord, slumlord vibes, Management never responds to emails! Water gets cold sometimes even on the highest setting, had huge leak in ceiling before, people copulated on roof top before (so awful)
Advice to owner:
Lower the rent. $2200 minimum for a one bedroom is awfully high especially when the owner does not respond... kitchen is decent. I like the space overall, just not the price. Heat could be stronger, design should have been better in the bathroom.
