Bitter sweet.......
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighborhood, people do get along, quiet working people and some retired. Most apartments have the space needed than of those in the inner city. No alternative side parking rules!! The amenities are close by.....
Cons:
Before moving in to any apartment check and make sure the apartment has been insulated for cold temperatures or hot temperatures, my apartment in specifics have to blast the ac’s a 12k btu in the living room and a 8k in the bedroom to cool down the house, during cold days we have to crank the heat to 90 to stay warm ( all due to insulation), but the landlord says there were no complains before... Parking is insane!!!!!!!
Advice to owner:
Insulation is important for cold weather and hot weather, don’t fix things half way to then disturb your tenants with fixing, fix the problem and let the tenants enjoy their peace in the space they rent. Bringing a plumber for the same issue three times is already a sign of cheap labor patch now for a temporary fix...... If you don’t take your time to fix the apartment or at least do the compound tape on the sheet rock of the walls isn’t so visible, you can lose value to such great apartment.
