Jackson Park was a great building to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building made me feel like I was in Metropolis

Non smoking building, but some would smoke and come through vents.
Advice to owner:
be stricter with your younger tenants.

The noise of the subway and the AC is quite loud. There were some issues with the dishwasher.

Convenient & rent stablized
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very convenient to multiple subways. Windows well insulated. Efficient layouts and lots of storage for size of units.
Cons:
Building management takes a moment to respond, though basic maintenance requests are pretty quick and managed through the online portal. Lots of construction next door currently so very dusty and noisy. Elevators congested/slow at peak times.

Chic new apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
New building and state of the art appliances, washer dryer in unit, beautiful rooftops and shared courtyard with grills. Has an awesome amenity building you can opt into with all you could ever ask for.
Cons:
Not specific about the building but there is a ton of construction of a building next door that will likely block the entire view and natural light from one side of the building
I lived in Jackson Park between 2018 and 2020, and was the first tenant in my unit. It was nice, very nice. Great amenities, great fixtures in the apartments, and a well-maintained building.
Cons:
while the building was shiny, new, and filled with amenities, it lacked any personality. To top things off, neighbors were not very friendly. And considering the number of apartments, the building should have had at least twice as many elevators.

Cons:

Loved living here
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Great building - Great Amenities - No noise issues from other apartments - Great private parks - Awesome rooftop
Cons:
- All management folks are not that friendly. - Train noise is constant. - If anything breaks you have to wait till Thursday to get it fixed because that’s when the handyman comes in. Even if it’s an emergency, you still got to wait atleast till the next Tuesday. - Packages are misplaces sometimes. Not completely management’s fault though. Some residents just don’t return the package if they receive it by mistake.
Advice to owner:
- Package room can be managed better - Repairs should be done within 24hrs if it is an emergency. And what constitutes an emergency should be clearly mentioned in the lease.

Worst repair service
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice lobby snd rooftop
Cons:
Horrible management. You place a service repair order and no one answers you. Took 10 days to get a response…only after I emailed the manager. Worst mail/package room in Long Island City! They have lost 3 of my packages, and every time you have to pick up a package you need to wait 20 minutes in line…worst!
Advice to owner:
Hire more staff.

Well maintained and quality workmanship in construction
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very well kept premises and responsive engineering for whatever issues that need fixing. Friendly front desk.
Cons:
Walls a bit too thin and can hear upstairs neighbors, hallway neighbors barking dogs.
