Best place I've lived in NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, soundproof, high ceilings, laundry in unit, excellent facilities.
Cons:
They jack up the water + electric. Rent is high but unfortunately in line with market value. They constantly raise facilities rates without telling people.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants who pay rent better than those who don't.

overall great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
-mgt has improved over the years, more firm implementing rules that benefit the community -private park, amenities bldg, security, social activities sponsored by mgt foster a sense of community, improved diversity of tenants
Cons:
-garbage disposal has always been an issue, but is mostly due to some tenants that are inconsiderate, mgt has been trying to take action
Advice to owner:
getting better, keep improving

Well maintained bldg, friendly staff
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building well maintained and clean. Nice garden area. Fitness center access costs extra - just increased to $119/month. Includes access to indoor and outdoor pool.
Immediately surrounding area is quiet and clean - clearly the area gentrified considerably over the past decade.
Heavy Asian (Chinese?) population in building. Food trucks outside the building in the evenings.
Nice market (city acres) and food hall across the street.
Extremely convenient subway access
Cons:
Some units get considerable noise from subway.

Counting down until end of lease
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to subway , shopping, highways.
Cons:
There were many issues: poor security (homeless person snuck into a security card controlled elevator onto our floor), garbage room always dirty and overfilled, carts are rarely returned to lobby and there is no oversight for this, a heat complaint was ignored for over 72 hours. The tenants are young and it feels more like a dorm community where no one cares about the building or those living in it.( Shortly after we moved in, there was dog excrement in the middle of the lobby)
Advice to owner:
Need better management, better oversight for everyone.

Nice apartment but terrible package management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is new and definitely a luxury apartment. The apartment has one of the nicest amenities in LIC.
Cons:
One big drawback is package management. Their package room is managed by third party company and multiple times they lost my packages or unable to deliver due to various reasons. My unit also had broken AC unit upon moving in but they managed to fix it within couple days.

Building is very well maintaned
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building and good management
Cons:
Mail room takes a long time to process packages.
Advice to owner:
Fix mail room issues. Takes longer to process packages than to get it shipped cross country.

Not that bad but still
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, seconds away from subway and a lot of restaurants, coffe shops and grocery stores around. Some of the staff are really nice and friendly.
Cons:
Too much noise:( The noise from the subway is bearable but the AC and fridge is functioning super loud ( could be that I live in a studio). The wall is nonexistent as for soundproofing, I can hear my neighbors playing music and running water for bath

very corporate Mgmt (read - rent increases)
Former Tenant
Pros:
Gorgeous property and amenities but covered in dog shit. Friendly doormen and staff
Cons:
Quality of materials are terrible and things are always breaking. A pipe burst in the unit above and my house flooded and management still very slow to try and even assess the damage. Dishwasher started leaking at some point and took them 2 weeks to fix. Windows barely open and can get stuck in either direction.
Advice to owner:
More upfront pricing…
