Landlord from hell
Former Tenant
Pros:
Space and private entrance that doesn’t become private in summer time.
Cons:
There’s never a moment of silence. They landlord and his family lives upstairs. They walk like giants, have their dog constantly jumping and running Back and forth over your head even at 12:30am! They complain about everything. The man comes down when you’re not home and check your stuff. They don’t want you to have anyone over although you have you’re own entrance and renting the entire basement. When you try to talk to them about things they immediately act like the victim and you’re wrong. They took security deposit and first month of rent without giving me a lease and when I moved in then told me about all the rules and non of them made sense! The first year they would bring my mails and packages to them back and when I complained about the noise the lady stopped and now The man returns my mails if u don’t collect it when I’m still living here and paying them their rent straight up and he had the nerve to tell me this. (One week before the months starts). They are nothing but a bunch of bullies, conniving and vicious. I would stay clear from this place and do your research before you move in because they’re all nice to you the first time and then when u complain about something it all goes downhill from there.
Advice to owner:
Get some common sense and stop taking advantage of people especially when they’re young and vulnerable.
