Bittersweet but scary
Former Tenant
Pros:
I loved how young the building was — I made a lot of friends during my time there and had a lot of fun in our rooftop and lounge with friends.

The super Mujo is so nice and helpful — the building is pretty clean.
Cons:
I had a stalker that lived on my floor and would follow me up to my apartment very late at night and ring my bell and knock on my door non stop. He would sit in the lounge at night staring until I would come home. Not sure who else he did this to. I called the police on 3 occasions and management did nothing to help me and wouldn’t let me see video camera footage or cooperate. The buzzer downstairs didn’t work so police couldn’t get in. This building is not safe for women.
Advice to owner:
Be very careful moving here

Great Building and Experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great, new building. No pests. Very quiet for the most part. Good water pressure and good temperature control. Hallways and lobby are clean. Very responsive and friendly landlord. Parking is available on the first floor.
Cons:
There is audible noise from the ceiling and street, which is not unusual for NYC. Tenants do have pets in the building, which can be messy outside the front entrance. There is a slight mold issue on the wall in my room.
Advice to owner:
Regular checks and repairs for any signs of mold.

Cons:

Good place and responsive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Have lived here since January 2019. Management is generally quick to answer questions and the super of the building is very responsive (he lives in the building as well). Whenever I’ve had a repair issue he fixes it usually within a matter of a few hours and at most in a day. Building is pretty clean with the super cleaning it regularly. Overall good apartment building with a secure place for packages (need key fob to get into the package room).
Cons:
I’ve heard it can be hard to get your security deposit back from management but I haven’t moved out yet so I can’t speak to that.

No buzz in system. Basically if someone “buzzes” for your apartment it calls your phone number and pressing a number on your phone is supposed to open the door. This has never worked for me however and I have to physically go down to let guests in. I wish management would just shell out the extra money to have a regular buzz in system.

Parking can be a bit pricey with it at $200 per month but that is at least cheaper than parking elsewhere 🤷‍♀️
Advice to owner:
Would like a better buzz in system and if possible a doorman.

everything you need
Former Tenant
Pros:
laundry, upgraded amentities, rooftop, lots of grocery stores and pharmacies near by, live in super is amazing
Cons:

It is alright
Former Tenant
Pros:
The rooftop and courtyard are nice, laundry room with plenty of machines, trash rooms on each floor, super is very nice and helpful.
Cons:
The building is often dirty, heating/cooling units are outdated and breakdown often. Landlord does not respond to emails. They only use Rhino for security deposit.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your emails.
