Love, but don’t forget your key!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing concierge- all of them Coffee machine is back up everyday :) Super nice neighbors
Cons:
$50 fee if you mistakenly forget your key Washer been broke for a month now and have been paying to use units downstairs Pet friendly building yet can’t have dogs out back despite hangout on roof
Advice to owner:
$50 fee for the spare key usage is robbery. I’ve been to numerous buildings in the area and not one has this problem. Also, 2 lounge spots for tenants but it’s a problem for the dogs to run out back when it’s a pet friendly building?

Watermark LIC
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is gorgeous. Apartments are clean and utilities are top notch.
Cons:
Prices: They are going up during COVID!!! There are no amenities now (obviously) but the rents in the building are higher. Higher as compared to all other buildings in the area, that were higher pre-COVID. More and more tenants are moving out when there leases are over because management is either raising, or keeping rent prices the same. Again, during COVID. Other buildings are now offering much more space at cheaper prices.
Management: Huge disconnect between management and tenants. The reason is simple; staff turnover is high, like once a year there’s a major change in maintenance/super and / or building management.
Amenities: Though most are closed because of COVID, the areas that are open (“Sky Lounge”, sun deck and BBQ) are DISGUSTING! Barely cleaned. I clean up after myself and usually clean after others.
Maintenance Requests: Currently have four open requests. Though they are not high priority, they have been open since FEBRUARY and it is now August. Admittedly, COVID may have had an impact on it at the beginning... no excuse now.
Advice to owner:
Get it together. Offer incentives for tenants that have been loyal to you when others have not. You now have more vacancies than you’ve had since you opened in 2017... you have to ask yourself, why is that??
