Positive experience in this apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
The landlord/management office is very responsive and will make repairs asap. Had the typical issues of old building (clogged drains) but no rodents. They were quick to help.
Cons:
Landlord pushes people to leave a few days before the lease is up.

420 East 11th
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Nice sized apartments for the area
- Conveniently located in a quiet area of East Village
- Accessible rooftop
- Rear apartments have private balconies
- Family run management
- Friendly management & super(s)
- Elevator in building
- Apartments are made with care, not just cookie-cutter boxes with cheap walls
- Basement with laundry
Cons:
- Management is absolutely not afraid to raise rent, raised from $2,650 to $3,500 after one year. Now listing apartments for $4,000. Will not negotiate with tenants
- Trash is rarely taken out and located in hallway
- Double booked apartment when leaving (told new tenants they could move in early without telling us)
- We had a rat climb up the toilet, minimal response to that happening
- Tiny kitchen space (typical, but still)
- Advertises 1 bedrooms as flex 2 bedrooms
Advice to owner:
Communicate any move-in conflicts with move-outs within lease.
