Affordable + amenities
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in the building, elevator, big apartments, and affordable. My specific owner of my apt was great.
Cons:
Management is very slow to fix things or respond. The elevator was often broken but they are installing a new system now so no elevator for 8 weeks. Had a leak in our apt from the upstairs neighbors and they told us to talk to them to make them fix it. Had a bad pest issue for a while. Overall this place is very up and down and not consistent. Feels like you're in west-bubble f*ck nowhere. Subway often doesn't stop here over the weekend or after 9pm or during the afternoons. It's a co-op but every apt seems to be sublet out to anyone so it's really a mixed bag on your neighbors and their cleanliness.
Advice to owner:
Do better and take pride in your building. Really doesn't seem like they care who lives here and it makes everyone's living experience worse.

Good building, lovely neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
Park nearby, plenty of amenities. Responsive management, rent stabilized
Cons:
Old building so cockroaches were an issue sometimes. But the management always was on top of the problem
