Good until it wasn’t
Former Tenant
Pros:
Family owned and occupied so not too noisy
Roof access
Unit was fairly recently renovated
No rodent problems
Cons:
The stairs were very old, loud and rotting.
The unit had cracks in the walls.
Had a bed bug problem in my unit.
Landlord is very cheap and never wants to truly fix the building. Landlords daughter lives on top floor and is not properly medicated. She gets very aggressive and the police have been called multiple times against her. It’s not a pet friendly building yet the landlords daughter and other tenants in the building have dogs anyway. At first it was a decent apartment to live in but as time went on all the flaws started to show. I would not recommend this building to anyone
Advice to owner:
Renovate your building and take care of it properly!! Also do not make your tenants uncomfortable with inappropriate behavior!

not the best. gets a roof over your head.
Former Tenant
Pros:
nice location near train.
Cons:
landlord’s daughter is a nightmare. nypd did health checks on her and they suggested we should move.
Advice to owner:
the father and brother should handle the building only. please clean your halls, and make rules the same for everyone. only certain tenants could have pets, not everyone
