Avoid at all costs
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is in a prime location in Bushwick and close to trains, bars, restaurants, etc. Bedrooms were very large and the unit had 1.5 bathrooms—rare for a 2 bed.
Cons:
There were nothing but problems from the moment we moved in. The unit was dirty and hadn't been cleaned when we moved in—the whole place was literally covered in dust from construction and workmen had left behind buckets, ladders, and other things and literally nobody ever said anything to us or came back to claim them. The recent "renovations" were shoddy at best and completed by people who clearly did not know what they were doing. Individual heating/AC units in each room were not connected properly to pumps causing severe water leakage which damaged our personal property. They were also all connected to the same electrical circuit as ALL the other lighting in our apartment, resulting in repeated blackouts of the entire unit because the circuit was blown. There was an awful musty smell in the building and unit that I couldn't get rid of no matter what I did. Neighbors that moved in at the same time as me got bed bugs as soon as they moved in—indicating the bugs had been there and never been properly exterminated. The list goes on… Bottom line, when I was moving out, tenants of this building were coordinating with several others in the neighborhood owned by the same management company to file a class action lawsuit because of all the violations.

Tin can overpriced by a slumlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Basically nothing. they are good about the garbage for the most part and the super is nice and does what he can. Haven’t had any pests since being here even though I heard it used to be an issue.
Cons:
Price gouging for no amenities
Disgustingly dirty
We moved in and every single thing was broken and not fixed
SO LOUD - you hear every single noise within the building
No option to pay rent electronically, or even in separate checks if you have a roommate
Door buzzing system does not work - you need to manually go to the door to let anyone in
Everything in the apartment is so cheap it looks like it was made by an elementary schooler for a school project
Tenants are dysfunctional, loud, and inconsiderate. Slamming doors and yelling at all hours of the night (they’re not even young people either). Perpetually screaming child living upstairs. They also throw parties with randoms on the porch when it’s warm, all night
Shower water is only ranges from cold to slightly hot. This slightly hot water runs out after 7 mins
Entire street is extremely sketchy
Advice to owner:
Clean the units. Stop charging so much and exploiting people. Actually use modern technology. If the building is going to be a piece of garbage you can at least price it cheaply.
