good for a first apartment, you'll move on quickly
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Backfacing units were shockingly quiet on such a busy street - Backfacing units are up against no buildings so amazing natural light and big windows, fire escape is really pleasant in the summer - Tall ceilings - Great subway access - Great takeout food access
Cons:
- Issues with pests - Insanely loud heat pipe (even for heat pipes) - Always a scene right outside, like even to take your trash out you'd usually need to pass by a few people on the stoop and then cut through the line to the bar downstairs before discarding the trash right next to the bar's door.
Advice to owner:
fix the heat pipe somehow

Impossible to sleep due to heat pipe
Former Tenant
Pros:
High ceilings, cute tiled bathroom, back facing apartments are quiet
Cons:
Mice, heat pipe banged (sounded like a wrench being hit on metal) 5 to 6 times a night waking us up, heat piped also went off during the day making it hard to work from home, outdated kitchen, packages stolen, management unresponsive, apartment filthy on move-in and never felt very clean despite our best efforts
Advice to owner:
Please fix the heat pipe and get a professional cleaner to deep clean the place!
