Renters beware
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. Decent sized apartment
Cons:
Constantly had issues with heat and hot water mid winter and the management company was completely unresponsive. The super never showed up when the management company said he would. My apartment shower flooded into the apartment below, the radiators essentially became sprinklers and would leave sitting water all over the floor. I called the management company in tears multiple times throughout the 11 months I lived there and they just didn’t care at all or make any sort of good faith effort to fix things that were essential to safely live in the apartment. But they sure as hell expected their rent on time! We moved out early and forfeited our security deposit because we couldn’t stand living there anymore after coming home one day to one bedroom completely flooded.

Note: I lived here 2013-2014 but the building is still owned by the same company so I am doubtful anything has changed.
Advice to owner:
Remember that the people you rent to are humans who need (and legally are entitled to) necessities like heat and hot water.

-Large apartment space
-True two bedrooms

Advice to owner:
The building really needs to be renovated, it has so much potential but it is slowly falling into disrepair.
