Pros:
The renovated apartments in this building look nice. Stainless steel appliances, nice walnut floors, updated bathrooms that highlight the prewar aesthetic. The apartments are also relatively spacious (if you're living alone).
The super is very friendly and responsive.
Cons:
The apartment I stayed in received very little light. And because there was a wall put up in order to market the apartment as a two-bedroom, any light coming in from the windows didn't really reach the kitchen area.
The building itself is quite dirty/smelly and there are LOTS of bugs: cockroaches of all sizes, flies, and bedbugs. The trash is taken out everyday, but you can still see cockroaches and flies in each of the trash rooms.
People smoke inside the building in the hallway, leaving cigarette butts.
Advice to owner:
Hire an exterminator to come every month to treat the building!!
The hallways/lobby should be mopped more frequently.
