Absent and Avoidant
Former Tenant
Pros:
Old Tenement charm, decent layouts, high ceilings, many windows and wood floors. Good value when maintained by previous management company.
Cons:
Inconsistent hot water and heat, rodents, pigeon occupation, dirty halls, roof leaks, broken intercom system, unresponsive landlord, walk up, DIY repairs and appliance replacements.
Advice to owner:
Property owner should maintain building. They should repair and service roof and boiler and follow heat and hot waterlaws.
