Central Harlem Charm
Former Tenant
Pros:
Centrally located in Harlem. Easy walk to A/C/B/D subway lines at 145th and 2/3 train at 135th. Grocery story less than a block away. Washer/Dryer in unit. Spacious bathroom.
Cons:
Infested with mice. After a month of being there and killing about 25, we were able to find that the hole in the wall under the bathroom sink for the plumbing was where they were entering. We filled it with steel wire and blocked any future entries. Views from bedrooms are of the garbage area outside. Very noisy whenever anyone walks by outside. Lots of fights outside on the street AND in the alley way behind. Neighbors steal packages.
Advice to owner:
Advice tenants of pest control issues.

Not the worst, not the best
Former Tenant
Pros:
I got lucky with one of the partial newly renovated apartments. New kitchen and new floors. Not all apartment are updated. No rodents, may get a few ants here and there during warmer months.
Cons:
Neighbors can be extremely loud at late hours blasting music in parking lot during warmer months. Lots of traffic in parking lot from non residents. Super always find the cheapest solution to fixtures.
Advice to owner:
Care more about your tenants. Provide service as if you were living there. Cheaper is not always the best option.
