Clean, safe, but stay in management’s good side
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super is great (Willie), clean and rules in place to keep the place clean.
Cons:
Low urgency for things like hot water going out. Guy who does the trash is super creepy and will make comments to all the women about their bodies. Bunch of rules - read your lease carefully
Advice to owner:
Lots of communication on any changes are appreciated

Pros outweigh the cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
The rent is affordable, especially for the area. The location is great for transportation, parks close by, and lots of great restaurants in walking distance. The common area in our apt is spacious with tons of natural light, and can fit a lot of people.
Cons:
The stairwell is constantly dirty, it maybe gets cleaned once a month. Repairs are usually done quickly but rather than investing in a new appliance they try to just keep fixing the old ones (for us it’s our oven- it’s been fixed 4 or 5 times now...just get us a new one!)
Advice to owner:
Have a more responsive admin staff and communicate when new staff members are hired on and become the new points of contact .
