Pros:
Great Neighborhood central to everything
Cons:
Landlord is terrible and lives in the building. Refuses to fix things, has bed bugs in the building and refuses to get controlled, is always in your business and makes racist remarks if you have any poc friends come in the building

You're going to wind up in jail

It’s a quiet building and pest free
Cons:
Landlord is maybe the most awful person I have ever interacted with in my life. Constantly accusing us of having a secret roommate if we had any friend over. Had to call the police on him when he grabbed a female friend and physically pushed her out of the building because he was convinced she was living with us illegally (she wasn’t!). He never fixed anything in the apartment. Both the refrigerator and stove were half broken when we moved in and he refused to replace them. He got mad at us for using an air conditioner because it dripped water (like all air conditioners do). VERY RACIST AND SEXIST!! Heard him say terrible things about black, asian and jewish people (im Jewish!) and treated all female tenants with disrespect. He would not let our black roommate move into the building! Tried to lock us out!!! She ended up moving into a new place because why would you want to live with that. He is truly pure evil! I have never hated a man more. Oh also entering apartment unannounced with his own keys!!! It’s a good neighborhood, clean quiet building but it is not worth the near daily harassment. Also we were rent stabilized, which is why we stayed but he lied and said his son was moving in so he could illegally destabilize the apartment.
Advice to owner:
Get a new job
