Has been a Nightmare for the past two years
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great maintenance team. Nice roof deck.
Cons:
Landlord responsiveness is practically nil. Takes a full year to fix problem. No peace or privacy due to construction (and neighboring building) next door. Not enough laundry machines. No heat or air conditioning in the hallways. Loud construction. No manhattan views from patios. Weak/spotty water pressure. Hot water heater more like warm water heater.
Advice to owner:
Don’t harass your tenants. Don’t threaten your tenants. Get new management team. Accept online transaction for rent payments

Current Construction Zone
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very clean and nice people. Great roof.
Cons:
Every morning at 7am the sound of metal on metal hammering from the next door construction (owned by the owners of this building) is absurdly loud. No parking for over a year in the lots because of this new construction and they also have the street parking blocked off at all times. New building will also block all late afternoon sunlight on southern exposure apartments.
Advice to owner:
Be forthright with your tenets and give them realistic timelines of when this construction hell is going to end. There is no reason why after construction hours that the building still blocks all street parking. It should be no Parking 7am-6pm like construction. And frankly 7am is way too early for power saws cutting metal.
