Great location, sleazy owner

Great location. Apartments are spacious
Cons:
Horrible management of the trash room which connects to the pizzeria below. There are constantly rats there and Ian (landlord from First K Realty) does not address the issue. He occasionally brings in an exterminator who clearly does not work. Mice have also been seen and caught in our apartment (including two today). Ian’s response is that he hadn’t heard from us in over a month so there clearly wasn’t an issue. A monthly rat sighting and multiple mice caught in our apartment should not be normal. Cockroaches have been seen in our apartment as well.
Advice to owner:
There needs to be more effort on cleanliness. The stairwell hasn’t been clean since we moved in over a year ago. Owner is sleazy, unresponsive and simply does not care.
