Overall Great West Village Walkup!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Responsive management and a lovely super, hallways are typical walk up style and rundown but the units themselves are nice and well kept, washer/dryer and dishwashers in unit are a huge plus.
Cons:
West 4th Street facing units can be loud especially on the weekends, some noise between floors/walls of units as well.

The worst place to live - mgmt almost killed me
Former Tenant
Pros:
Absolutely nothing whatsoever.
Cons:
The stairs to enter the building are falling apart. There is no way they are up to code. Officer manager “Jaime” is an absolute nightmare. She (he?) is rude, malicious, retaliatory and a poor excuse for a human being. We didn’t have carbon monoxide detectors or smoke detectors upon moving in. Then later, we smelled gas. No one cared. Finally, the carbon monoxide detector went off and the fire department came and confirmed that the CO level was 45, which is “halfway to lethal” according to them. Then it took them 6+ weeks to install a new stove/oven. And they tried to do it illegally. They didn’t want to a get a licensed professional (electrician/plumber), which is required by LAW for a stove installation. They didn’t have the proper work permits until we reported them multiplex times. They didn’t care at all. They wouldn’t have cared if we died in the unit. The place has cockroaches. The front door doesn’t lock. They don’t care about the safety of their tenants. There is a garbage truck that picks up at 3am every night and you can hear it’s reverse alarm blaring through the old windows that don’t work. The entrance way is never clean. You have to take out your own garbage. They were rude the entire time and they are greedy. All they care about is $.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants like human beings with the respect they deserve and follow the law.
