Well maintained apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious, nice location
Cons:
Heating wasn’t controlled by tenant, at mercy of landlord

Location, location, location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location! The 5th floor walkup is not fun. LL hires people to do the trash, which is nice. If the LL feels like it, he’ll fix any issues within the day
Cons:
LL is only responsive to tenants that he likes personally — he doesn’t like blacks, puerto ricans, Dominicans or Americans (he’s eastern european). Packages can easily be stolen from lobby.
Advice to owner:
Get someone else to manage your property, offer more flexibility & concessions to tenants such as bike storage or laundry
