Decent Astoria Apt.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Deals with trash on a regular basis
Nice landlord
Close to a lot of places in Astoria
Monthly exterminator for maintenance
Friendly neighbors
Cons:
Hallway/stairwell/common area not lit well
Needs new entry stairs
Floors need to be redone
Front building door needs to be fixed
Advice to owner:
Maybe paint the hallways/stairwell a lighter color. It’s very dark.

Greedy unresponsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super lives in building
Cons:
Windows were broken prior to moving in and was not fixed till 4-5 months later after repeatedly reaching out. Kay also only cares about her money is not responsive otherwise. She also raises rent from one tenant to next more than the legal increase allows. Check rent history before signing.
Advice to owner:
Fix your buildings and stop scamming renters.
