Do not move here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The ONLY good thing about this building is that the trains are nearby.
Cons:
This building is a dump. The neighbors throw themselves on the ground and make loud banging noises for no reason, the super has bbqs next to the trash area and his family smokes weed there so your apt gets filled with the stench. The water pressure is worse than pouring water out of a water bottle, the ringer doesn't work, everything is broken. Theres holes all over my apt and its been taking them years to fix it, literally over 4 years now. Theres a pedophile/sex offender who lives in the building as well. Save your money, the apts are very outdated and super over priced, it is absolutely horrendous here.
Advice to owner:
Stop being money hungry and fix the freaking building. Fire your useless super and get yourself someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Breaking down building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Public transportation right next to the building the 1 train and the A train a few blocks away.
Cons:
Pray nothing breaks in your apartment because it would take years to get the super to fix it. The building is always dirty but when the super knows that the city is about to come for inspection he maps the floor ( he leaves the Bucket in the first floor and goes to the 5th floor down without going back to the bucket to clean the map.) I honestly don’t know how the building hasn’t been closed down by the city it’s breaking apart ... literally big pieces of the walls are falling in the hallways. The hot water is too cold or way too hot. The wall isolation from the cold doesn’t work so the apartment feels extra cold during winter and the heat doesn’t work all the time. During the super the super has parties all the time and loud music around the area where you put the trash. He and the people smoke weed and if your window faces to that area of the building your whole apartment would smell like they are smoking right inside your apartment.
Advice to owner:
Start investing in your building before it is too late and you have a rain of law suits at your office. You definitely need to get a super that at least has an idea of how to do their job. The super you have now it is just doing the minimum to get by. Literally you have someone in the basement living for free and is getting money from you by doing nothing.
