Mixed reviews for old but can be very solid building.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Mostly very nice residents.
Cons:
A bit sad looking. The repairs are sub-standard. The plumbers left my drain flooding all night long. Recurrent problems that don’t get properly fixed to address the causes. Could tell them over and over, no one listens. If you ask for compensation, the management fights you.
Advice to owner:
Not enough interest taken.

Renter Beware- Park Noise
Former Tenant
Pros:
The management is really good. I’ve heard horror stories from other places but the supervisor and the landlord were both attentive. For the cost, you get a good amount of space. Close to the A.
Cons:
The noise had made this place unbearable. J Hood Wright park is right next to the building and it is a terrible park. Everyday someone is blaring their music or shooting off fireworks. I report the noise but majority of the time the people that work for the park or the police that respond “don’t see the issue.” Those people half-ass the noise reports because if they actually did just walk by the building they could actually hear it. If you work from home or want your peace and quiet I do not recommend. I will not be renewing and looking elsewhere.
Advice to owner:
Work with J Hood Wright park to control the noise issue. I’ve heard my neighbors above and below yell at people in the park to turn it down. People in the park need to understand and respect the residents that live alongside the park. I could see a lot of people leaving this apartment building because of the noise.
