Landlord unresponsive building is nice
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. Well built building. Not too shabby.
Cons:
Sometimes water would go out for days or weeks. They didn’t fix it. They changed landlords since. There are also a lot of summer beetles (not cockroaches) that come out of the walls. A mouse about 1-2 times a year but nothing too bad. Good apartment overall. No response from management sometimes for months on certain issues.
Advice to owner:
Well you sold and you should have. You weren’t responsive.

Recently sold to a new owner, I wouldn't recommend to anyone
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is great. The neighbors are good. The price is right.
Cons:
The new ownership group is beyond awful. The very first week of their ownership they left their tenants without heat for a full 5 days in the middle of a winter storm. No communication. No notice. No gesture of good will. Nothing. They didn't even communicate to the tenants who the new landlord was so I was reduced to calling my city council member in an effort to get heat.

After moving out, it took them over 6 months to return my deposit after relentless hounding and empty promises. I have finally opened a small claims court case but didn't want to deal with that headache either. I'm left with no other option at this point.

All the while, the representative they have going around to people pretends like he's everyone's friend. The quintessential used car salesman. If you cared how I was doing, you wouldn't ignore my messages and debt.
Advice to owner:
Go back to whatever job you used to do. Your tenantss are real people with lives. Not merely a money making opportunity.
