Great building, bad management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is well maintained and taken care of. Reaching out to the super is easy, and they are very responsive. Overall the apartment is spacious, and the wood floors are beautiful. The surrounding area is perfect for young families, and the neighborhood is lovely. My apartment had a view of the Roosevelt island tram passing.
Cons:
Living in the building is great, BUT if you have to deal with the management company good luck. They overcharged me for rent, and they are known to be very difficult to get ahold of. I was transferred to some very cranky and angry people no less than 5 times. I did have one nice experience once talking to the help desk, but other than that they sound miserable.
They double signed my lease, luckily I was the proper renter but some poor guy who moved from Chicago was SOL and had his whole moving van out front and no place to live now because of their mess up.
They are also known to try and hold security deposits, so take pictures of everything, and track all of your payments,
Advice to owner:
They have to do better with customer service overall. It's awful, and very hard to resolve issues that don't need to be escalated like that.

Our ceiling fell down
Former Tenant
Pros:
The guy who breaks down the boxes is nice.
Cons:
We came home from a vacation to find a massive hole in our bathroom ceiling. The super covered it with cardboard and told us we couldn't use the shower until it was fixed. It took 10 days to get it fixed. We also had to call the police on our neighbor once because he got drunk, locked himself out, and started bodyslamming the door at 1 am. There was mice and flying cockroaches.
Advice to owner:
Burn it down and start over.
