Don't move here

Pros:
Better than living on the street.
Cons:
There is nothing to like about this building. All of the neighbors are complete a-holes, the interior of apartments is cracked everywhere horrible pain and plaster job, random periods of absolutely no heat on the coldest days, I'm building management could really care less about any of it.
Advice to owner:
Listen and actually do something when a tenant calls you about a problem instead of giving them a generic answer that you're giving to the other 5,000 buildings you manage.

Great location, lousy building

Pros:
Great location, in a quiet and safe neighborhood
Cons:
Dirty and ran down building, wall to wall carpet in hallways is old and smells bad, vents in public areas are nasty, stairway hasn’t been cleaned in years, walls are stained. Apartments are old and need some major upgrades. When cooking, surrounding cabinets and walls heat up! Could be dangerous! Water temperature in shower changes depending on what neighbors are doing, it can go from warm to burning hot in seconds, another dangerous feature! Owners do not care, no money invested in the building. Roaches present in apartments and especially in the basement. No stairs to the basement and laundry room, only elevator access. 1 old and slow elevator.
Advice to owner:
Please invest in and upgrade apartments. We pay rent and yet nothing is being done for the residents. We are told to invest our own money if we want better quality living conditions.
