Great apartment, Terrible Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
I loved living here, the apartments are clean and modern. Good location.
Cons:
The management is negligent. Luckily the apts are in great condition bc the management is near impossible to get a hold of. My bathtub was broken the ENTIRE 2.5 years i lived there. They kept sending people to do "quick fixes" that didn't work. Then the last two months of living there, they sent someone who botched fixing it, so they had to cover the tiles in plastic wrap and tape. They didn't get it fixed the rest of my lease (2.5 months). So for 2.5 months i had an unusable bath and had to shower while the knobs etc surroundings were covered in plastic wrap. They also raised my rent by 1000+ and then pressured me to move out asap. They started trying to show my place the day after I got the letter about rent even though i still had 3 months on the lease. Last, they took almost all of my security deposit. a very frustrating experience.
Advice to owner:
Don’t raise rent and force tenants out, don't ignore tenants complaints

Bad experience with Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
New building, good location
Cons:
Management was terrible at communicating or responding to requests during my lease. They tried to arrange viewings at minimal notice and bring multiple people into the apartment in the height of the pandemic with no interest in safety protocols.
When I wrote to make building requests or ask that something broken in the building was fixed I was often ignored until I followed up and called multiple times.
When the building’s front door keypad was broken and there was no way to enter the building they took days to respond and fix it, meaning that tenants had to wedge the door open.
They now will not respond to my calls or emails about returning my security deposit over two months after my lease ended which is in breach of our lease agreement. They have raised no concerns about the condition of the apartment but simply will not respond to me. This was a lovely building to live in however the landlord / management negatively impacted the experience to such an extent I would recommend prospective tenants look elsewhere.
Advice to owner:
Answer tenants in a timely matter and be respectful to them by paying attention to their basic needs and requests for the building.

Don’t break the law and ignore previous tenants in an effort to avoid returning security deposits.
